High glycemic food vs low glycemic food…the terms diabetics clients are very familiar with…
Something to consider is that high glycemic food is highly addictive!!!
Sodas, snacks, fries….the conspiracy theory of “they are putting something into this stuff” is null… Once we eat high energy, high fat, or high sugar, our brain naturally craves more of it, and boy oh boy….it quickly becomes a vicious cycle, the more you eat the more you want, and the unhealthier you get ( still craving for missing nutrients), the more you find solace in these kinds of foods…
The good news is that, once you break the cycle and start eating nutrient-dense whole foods your body starts craving this kind of food…it does not happen overnight … when it does, it may be as simple as craving a juicy orange over a dry cookie! 😎🤩🥳
