I still preferably stock on olive oil, avocoda oil, coconut oil, ghee, butter….
And when I am reading labels on packaged food, I am paying a bit more attention when I see palm oil.
Palm oil is significantly higher in saturated fats when compared to vegetable oil. Yet, just like coconut oil (another saturated oil), I would take it any day over canola oil… And of course, there are some inflammatory vegetable oils out there, some are derived from common offenders when it comes to allergies; soybean oil, corn oil, peanut oil, and some are right out not good for you….
